A woman dances inside the gaze that consumes her.

Blending theatre, ritual and dance, this solo performance dismantles the fantasy of the “belly dancer” and exposes the machinery beneath it: the patriarchal and capitalist systems that eroticise, consume and discard.

What happens when survival requires speaking the language of power?
What remains of the self when the gaze never disappears?
