The rebellion day of the dogs is a contemporary reimagining of Madame Bovary set in Istanbul’s Nişantaşı district. Moving between the lives of the privileged and those who work invisibly around them, the play examines class hierarchy, precarious labour and the tensions beneath everyday urban life. As a strange prophecy spreads through the neighbourhood, the apparent security of the middle-class world begins to fracture.
